Forest School

November has started cold, but we wrapped up warm and began our trip to the forest with a big walk into the deepest darkest parts of the forest.

Lots of acorns and leaves have fallen to the ground now, so we made some designs and pictures with them:

We're going to need to be able to tie knots for some of the things we'll do later on in the forest, so we started today. Some of us managed to tie a knot for the first time!

We then tied two sticks together:

And to finish up, there was time for free play, with lots of tree climbing!
